Please join us for a discussion with Peter Thiel, a leading technology entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. Bill Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard and e21 Board Member, will lead the discussion.
Mr. Thiel first gained attention for innovations in banking and startup finance. He rose to national prominence as the mentor to the entrepreneurs behind PayPal, as well as for his warnings of a coming technology deficit with severe economic consequences. Mr. Thiel is working to accelerate innovation to prevent such a crisis by identifying and funding promising technology ideas and by guiding successful companies to scale. Mr. Thiel is also the author of “The End of the Future,” an article featured this month in National Review.
“Conversations With...” is a new series of substantive, in-depth discussions with influential lawmakers and public figures on the most important economic issues facing the nation. The purpose of the events is to deepen the public’s understanding of the challenges and choices we face in the years ahead, to generate light instead of heat, and to hear from those responsible for implementing economic policies at the national and state levels.
We hope you can attend this in-depth conversation with one of the most important thought leaders in the country in 2011.
